Will there be a wearing in period? This depends on the individual. Most will be able to wear the COBRA9’s immediately. In rare cases the orthotics may feel unusual and you may need to a wear them for short rides initially.
Will I be able to claim some of the cost of the COBRA9 through my private health insurance? Depends. For COBRA9 Pro insoles issues through Podiatrists in Australia, rebates may apply. For off the shelf insoles (COBRA9 SemiPro) or for those ordering internationally, there is typically no health insurance rebates.
How long will I have to wait for my COBRA9 Pros to arrive after casting? Within 10 working days, subject to payment of invoice and postage delays.
Is it cheaper if I order more than one pair for myself or a replacement pair? Second sets of COBRA9 Pro’s may be fund only if you have eligible private health insurance and the rebate covers the reduced fee (conditions apply).
Do I need to be re-cast if I want another set of Cobra9 Pros? No. We will store your moulds for future use.
Do I need to be re-cast if my foot shape has changed due to injury or other circumstance? Yes.
Am I able to buy COBRA9 SemiPros through my local podiatrist, bike fitter or physiotherapist? Yes. We have selected retailers operating in most states. See our partners page for more details.
