Having used various insoles (Superfeet, e Sole, Sidas) for a very long time, over 15 years decided to have a try of Cobra insole and never looked back. To be honest, I did not have a great first impression of the insole when it arrived as Cobra insole did not have usual built in hill cup to support the rear part of the hill like many other aftermarket insoles. However, once I trimmed tiny bit to fit my Sidi cycling shoe perfectly, the insole has been great. I ordered 2 mm thinner version as my bike fitter had to cut the front of other insoles to provide enough room in the toe box when I had insoles fitted first time. No need with Cobra 2 mm version. Also, the arch support has different contour to other insoles and seems to work better at pedalling power transfer, no power numbers to verify it though. Just my feel. I did not need to use the little black triangle that spreads out the toe to stop 'hot feet' and still works great without it.

These insoles are amazing. I answered the questions on the “find your fit” page, and these fit perfectly. I am replacing a $200 pair of retul custom insoles that finally gave out on me. I planned on using these as a temporary until I could replace, but after using these for a week I will only be using these moving forward. These are every bit as structurally supportive as the retul ones but these are much more comfortable, and in a weird way feel more lively. . These insoles take up the same amount as stock insoles so they don’t change how your shoes fit. I can confirm Large/regular width Cobra9 semipros fit Lake shoes size 43.5 and 44 without trimming.
