It has been in the makings for some time, but we can confirm that in 2014, Cobra9 Cycling Orthotics will be entering the Queensland Road Team Series (QRTS). There has been a huge amount of preparation and work involved in this process mainly from people behind the scenes at Cobra9. The entire undertaking would have […] Read More
Cracking ride by all the guys who braved some gusty winds this morning at Currumbin for the Tour de Pines Time Trial and Team Time Trial. Cobra9 enjoyed some suffering in the Team Time Trial recording fastest overall time with an average over 40 kph. Not bad for 5 guys on road bikes and losing […] Read More

Big thanks to Rocco and the guys at Austral cafe for great coffee and plenty of carbolicious food. We would highly recommend a visit to this funky establishment blending old school diner with proper coffee!
Great start to the Battle with a 3rd for Rupert in the opening road stage. Day was made better when we discovered the Austral cafe in Murwillumbah – good post-race coffee.
Busy times here at Cobra9 HQ. We have been busy working on a few changes to the Cobra9 Pros and Semi Pros whilst trying to train and prepare for the annual Battle on the Border cycling festival. Some of the changes include a larger range of top cover thickness options and densities. It means a departure from […] Read More
It’s a rare day when your focus from patients is interrupted by a flurry of lycra whizzing past your window. Today at the head office of Cobra9 is one of those days. The team time trial commences up the road from our Macquarie Street location and it is with equal parts envy and and relief that I am not […] Read More
Whilst there has not been so much activity on the site recently, there has been some large updates and upgrades occurring in both the setup of Cobra9 and the manufacturing process over recent months. One of the key elements has been the ongoing training and establishment of regional Cobra9 personnel who are able (and willing) […] Read More
This year’s Metropolitan Championship road race was conducted in near perfect conditions at Mount Alford, outside of Boonah. Cobra9 had a small representation this year with recent injury and illness troubles. Read on for a few snaps of the action – the upside of not being able to participate….
We’ve finally made time to upload photos from the Criterium. Congratulations again to all who participated and organised the event. Our general feeling was that the standard went up another level this year, along with the number of entrants. As a famous cyclist once said, It doesn’t get any easier, you just keep riding faster […] Read More
It’s over for another year. The annual Battle of the Border was run and won and Cobra9 gave a good account of ourselves in Elite B. 9th overall to Scottish (25 seconds down) and some good efforts for stage wins demonstrated the we were certainly amongst it. Not bad for a group of lads average […] Read More
Last day. Nervous tension is always palpable before a tight tough crit. So close to being taste a cool beer!
Frantic finish into a headwind with a race to last corner. Some near misses in the bunch but still a good sized group at the end. The hallmarks of this stage are the harrowing pot holed bottle loosening descents and the leg sapping little climb with 15 to go. A few fell off after the […] Read More
